I caught a shot of this Bee that looked like it was trying to shade up under this leaf while gathering it's pollen. ;)

i like the colours and composition of this one bruce , but it is a tad dark for my liking
the bee kinda gets lost in there
maybe ramp up the levels in ps? (not a lot tho)

Thanks Alan, I dont generally do a whole lot of PS work on my photos, but I might start doing more. I prefer the K.I.S.S. method. Kinda keeps me out of trouble. ;)

The photo is great. Are you using any kind of flash? it works great even in daylight, just a thought.(I get a few, every now and then, thoughts that is)

Actually, YES. I use the 550EX on a bracket and angled towrds the front of the lens, with a Lumiquest mini softbox. :cool:

I have to agree the shot is a little dark where the bee is at and it gets a little lost in the shot here as posted and from this angle.
