Congrats to Geno... I love the shot!! Thanks for the hosting job, macroshot and have a safe trip.

I will not be participating for the next couple of weeks as we are off to Alaska in a few days for a 10 day trip. :) See ya when we get back.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

For those of you who didn't change the title to reflect your photo, it is part of the rules of the game so remember to do it next time. You may have been disqualified for forgetting.

I couldn't do that to anyone but I did bold that section under the rules so Geno would remember to do it right!

Quite honestly, there were several images that could have won and I had it narrowed down to Geno, Matt, and Lee. It simply came down to the unique perspective from 40,000 feet above the ground. That it happened to be shot through an airplane window, and the fact that the image was well composed, perfectly exposed, and really offered a nice take on the theme moved it to 1st place.

We have an eclectic group of photographers on this forum all entering excellent images. I find it difficult to pick one when any number of them could win...

I photograph to find out what something will look like photographed.

That rule pisses me off. What difference does a name make to the photo? It should speak for itself. Should I have a name for all 60,000 photos on my hard drive?

Thanks for the praise. :)

Well, that rule for some, is what makes it The Challenge ;)

Many of the competions have that rule and I do like it. It makes me realize that people who are serious about entering pay attention to the details :)

That would be a low blow, Mo. :)
