anyone used the RAW processing feature in PSP9? How does it compare to Raw Shooter Essentials 2005?

RSE beats it, hands down.

I think I only used the RAW feature of PSP9 once or twice, and it was very limited what you could do with the images. It also doesn't support as many cameras as RSE.
