I just shot the Toronto Bucketfest street festival on August 28, 2010.

I used 7D , 580 EXII flash, Sigma 50mm 1.4mm.
For the shots of contortionist performer, I used Canon 70-200mm 2.8mm IS II with flash.

Too many pics to critique, but seeing what you shot, I'm sad that I missed it!

Exposure looks ok. Background is busy and distracting and the composition isn't anything exciting.

Might have been better to backup and use a longer focal length.

Plus we all know that stratocasters are better than telecasters. At least he's playing throug a cool Tweed amp (looks like a Blues Junior)

I was trying to figure out why they called it the "Bucketfest".....

Lots of buskers, but I'm not seeing any buckets!

I was looking because I didn't know Toronto had a basket festival. Oops - buckets!

I used to be from Ottawa (after I was from Bucks County) and knew we had a busker fest, but I thought well, Toronto does more festivals so perhaps they had a basket/bucket fest!

Anyway, I'd like to see the OP post 3-4 of the best examples from that day.
