Were these hand held? I don't see anything in focus, everything is blurry. Nice location, worth it to try again.

As the others said. The location and framing are nice, but I'd go back and try again with a tripod and better lighting.

Try aiming for earlier or later in the day when warmer light is falling on the falls to light them up a bit and give you some more color.

Oh dear, this image looks ok on my 13" screen. Shocking on here, dammit.

Thanks for the advice.

Canon 50D, Canon 28-135mm. AD mode so that I could adjust the f-stop, thing is I'm moving too much and didn't have a tripod handy.

Major fail.

also, might want to try framing the fall a bit tighter. The water and rocks in the foreground don't do much for the image, IMO.

If you don't have a tripod handy, you can also try to find a somewhat flat rock or other surface to support you camera on while taking a longer exposure.

Totally needs a tripod to be successful.

Besides the focus (major point), do I have the right idea going?
