Took these for a friend, didn't get many smiles but she's such a cutie!

I would really love C&C, on everything, but especially on my PP as I'm just learning Photoshop. :D Thanks!

picture 1 - your focus seems to be off - the bow on her shoulder strap is more clear than her face. You may want to soften the entire photo for an edit (although I don't really like the soft PP look generally, it's one way of saving. also black and white conversions seem to save slightly out of focus shots, sometimes).

2. is OK . . .

3. is my fave and a good edit - I think the crop helps out with the couch, and I think you could go with a vertical crop to totally get the couch out.

She is really cute, Kathryn!

Here's a quick tweak for #1:
It's a nice shot with a busy, uneven background. Most of the shadow is gone with a crop.
The darkness on the right side of the photo came out with Shadow/Highlight.
I changed the Levels a little and tweaked the color with Selective Color.

If it were mine I would probably go ahead and clone out the rest of the background.
