I will be attending the US Nationals at Indy this coming labor day weeken. I was wondering what lens to use there for track shots. I have a Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 and I also have a Canon 100-400 IS lens. We will be sitting 8-10 rows up. I would like the cars to fill the frame. I will be using the Canon 40D body. I only want to take one lens there so was wondering if anyone has any experience shooting at Indy what lens should I take? Thanks....
From previous experience:

From a seat near the starting line and two rows up, using a Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 at 70mm.

From a seat near the top of the grandstands, using a Tokina 80-400mm lens set at 330mm.

Mid-level seats and mid-track action using a Canon 70-300mm IS USM at 220mm.
The question is, how close will your seat be to the starting line, where most of the photogenic action such as burnouts occurs? For a location near the start line, the 70-200mm will work well. If you're further away from the start line, the longer lens will be necessary.
