Bridge Downloading Problem...Help

Okay, here's the deal. I am using an external card reader (USB 2.0) to download from my CF card that is used in my 7D. For some reason though, Bridge is not recognizing the files, and when exported from Bridge, Photoshop isn't either. Strange really, because Lightroom is processing the files just fine, also it exports to Photoshop fine as well. I'm really at a loss as to how to proceed, and could use some advice. This is CS4 FYI.

I am also going to try and download straight from the Camera and see if that helps. Will update shortly with more information.

OK, so you are saying that you can open your Raw files in CS4, or are you shooting jpegs? The 7D is a newer camera and you would need the newest update for Camera Raw, that is if the ACR 5.7 for CS4 is able to support the 7D. It sounds like your software did an automatic update for you.

I did update, and yes they were raw files. Initially after the update I had no luck though, but maybe it just took some time. Who knows. All I care about is that it works now.
