Now, I'm not a professional but we have recently been hired to do 4 weddings and so far we have done 3. And we have done two engagement shoots for friends.

Some of my shots have improved from what I can tell but I have a lot more work ahead of me.

Here goes some shots that I wanted to share with you all :)

All four images have each it's own style and so far I haven't found my own style to start out with just yet but I'm still learning.

Nice job. The last one looks a little on the red side to me.

Nice pics in general...and nice ideas. There seems to be something strange in the PP though, or maybe in the original exposure. Whatevers happening, the contrast seems excessive and the tonal range is poor.
While being careful to avoid blowing out the highlights it pays to expose as generously as necessary to give good detail everywhere, and to avoid the need to make massive adjustments in PP.
Are you shooting RAW?

Growing old disgracefully!

Yes I'm shooting in RAW.

What do you recommend into fixing these images if not just one?

I see what you mean especially in the first and last image. I tried to change the contrast and add less highlights

Is it a little better?

First things first. the colour balance in your last example before and after images is way too green. It is veiling the correct skin tones and the building next too the garden. colour can be corrected if you use, white or black as a reference tone. In this case i corrected the imbalances in a levels dialogue box and moved the sliders for R, G and B separately. The dialogue defaults to all adjusting all three channels simultaneously under the RGB heading. open the dropdown menu and alter each one individually. Play with each of the three highlight, midtone and shadow sliders just so you can get to see precisely what effect they have.

I may have left a little too much blue in here (you may or may not see it if your browser is not colour aware and your screen is not calibrated) but you can see what it does for the skin tones.

It is very blue pixel...but I agree about the green tones in the others.

THe processing isn;t working for me in the first as well.his face is in shadow.watch the natural light?

2 and 3 are lovely.

Last is cute, but agree about the red tinge, that is easily fixed.

Also,please use the angles sparingly.

you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

Thank you guys. This is why I need constructive criticism. Becuase with out a second pair of eyes I miss these kinds of stuff in the detail.

As far as the first picture I was "trying" to get the vintage feel of it. Does it work with that?

Yeah, I always remember about angles too :) But sometimes I think it makes the picture less boring.

For me PP is all about making creative decisions. Personally, I like the OP color choices much better than PixelManglers. Pixel's is way too blue, over saturated and little bit too crushed, but again it's a creative look and it comes down to personal taste.

OP - I like the 2nd version of your 1st image better, still has that vintage feel, nice colors and you can see more color information in the darks/lights. The others are good too and probably wouldn't change anything about them.

For which picture? :)

Each of the above pictures I edited them a completely different way. I'm trying to find my calling of editing. lol
