My WWII Veteran neighbor is almost 90 years old. He dropped out of school and lied about his age so that he could enlist in the Marines at the age of 17.

He recently received a disc of scanned images from the Son of a Man he served in the Pacific with.

All of the photos were scanned in groups of 8-10. I'm breaking them down into separate photos.

I currently live in China and it is great to see these photos. The one of the people eating the hawthorn berries off of the sticks is great they still sell those today my kids love that snack.
