All,

I've got a Samsung T240 24" montior, and I'm looking to get a reliable monitor calibration setup, but the more information there is the more I find it harder to decide.

What is the best bang for the buck with calibration software?

Thanks!

This looks like an option:

With a Samsung monitor, I recommend using an X-Rite product, the iOne Display 2. For some reason, Spyder3 calibration devices don't play well with consumer level Samsung monitors.

I used to use the Data color spyder 2 then upgraded to the spyder 3 then jumped up to the xrite colormunki. I would not pick up the spyder 3 from henrys that is a total rip off look on ebay or even BHphotovideo or adorama. Or I can sell you my barely used spyder 3 elite.

bhphotovideo 189.00 would be your best bet man if you are wanting to buy new.
