Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share some shots from a recent trip to the Oregon coast. Being from the Midwest getting to shoot on the coast is a welcome change. :D I'm always open to comments and constructive criticism.

Thanks superdiver! I did use a circular polarizer on some of them.

I kinda thought he was smirking. :-) #4 and #7 are not HDR. The rest are.

Nice shots. Some might say they're a bit over-saturated but I like them. #1 and #6 are my favorites.

I love these. The rainbow makes #5, but #3 is probably my favorite. You framed that rock so well, and the flowers are just something I don't see a lot of people incorporate into a West Coast shot.

Straightening...lol. Every time I straighten the horizon, I hang the picture crooked.

Thanks for the comment. I'd have to agree on being a bit over-saturated. Probably could have pulled it back on some of them. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks Chopper. As I said above it helps to know what images people like. I actually almost missed that shot (#3) as I was taking a picture in a different direction and just did my final look around before I moved on. I was hiking through some heavy brush/thorns at the time. :-)

WOW! Stunning imagery, elegant compositions, and wonderful processing. Hard to state a favorite, as they are all so strong, but I'll say #1 is my favorite by a thin margin. The waterfall, the rainbow, and crashing sea against the coast images are all awe-inspiring. The quality I like best about several of your images is that they display such powerful bursts of energy, whether it is light or water. Thank you for posting these! bw!
