Has anyone used answaan rechargeable lithium AA batteries ?

is this brand reliable for 580 EX II ?

I spelled the brand name wrong. I am not certain of correct spelling. :oops:


Canon 1DM4,7D, Rebel XT
580 EX II, 430 EX II
Canon 70-200mm IS II L , Canon 85mm F1.2 L II, Canon macro 100mm F/2.8, 18-55mm kit
Sigma 18-200mm F/3.5-5.6, Sigma 10-22mm, Sigma 50mm F/1.4

Azden maybe? Better check the voltage on whatever you're seeing. If they're really lithium rechagrgeables, they're usually 3+ V each, not the 1.2-1.5 your 580EX expects. Energizer had to do some fancy work with the chemistry to get their lithium throw-aways to only produce 1.5V.

The MaxE is similar to Sanyo Eneloops and Maha Imedions.

They have a higher capacity AA LSD called the MaxE+

I've been using their Emax and their charger for the past 3 years or so with satisfactory experience. The Emax though is not "lithium" but a "NiMh" AA cell.
