There is no Canon eyepiece extender for the 7D (or the 1D MkIII, which is the same size). But this one Does the Aquatech have any lens in it? Its a spacer to hold the corresponding rain jacket? I can't tell from the picture or description. Canon 6D, 1DmkII, IR modified 5DII with lots of Canon L, TSE and Zeiss ZE lenses

Nope, no lenses in there. It just moves your eye further from the camera - it's also more comfortable. Frank Hollis - Retired mass spectroscopist

As there is only the one Canon one and it fits both my 400D and 5D2, I assumed it was universal.

How far does the Aquatech extend the eyepiece is it as far as the Canon extender. 1Dx, 1DM4, 5DM2, 7D, EOS-M, 8-15L, 17-40L, 24 TSE II, 24-105L, 50L, 85L II, 100L, 135L, 200L f/2.8, 300L f/4, 70-200L II, 70-300L, 400Lf/5.6

The Aquatech sticks out about 2mm less than the Canon version. One thing I'd forgotten about Canon's is the poor fit, it rattles quite a bit and falls off sometimes. The Aquatech doesn't move at all.
