where can I buy an extender view finder for my 7D ?

where can I buy an extender view finder for my 7D ?

my noise constantly rubs against the LCD screen hence I want a longer viewfinder adapter


Canon 1DM4,7D, Rebel XT
580 EX II, 430 EX II
Canon 70-200mm IS II L , Canon 85mm F1.2 L II, Canon macro 100mm F/2.8, 18-55mm kit

That doesn't fit a 7D. There is no Canon eyepiece extender for the 7D (or the 1D MkIII, which is the same size). But this one (external link) does fit and it works very well. I wouldn't be without it.

Does the Aquatech have any lens in it? Its a spacer to hold the corresponding rain jacket? I can't tell from the picture or description.

Nope, no lenses in there. It just moves your eye further from the camera - it's also more comfortable.

Ah, my apologies then. As there is only the one Canon one and it fits both my 400D and 5D2, I assumed it was universal.

Just compared the Aquatech on my 7D with the Canon one on my 50D. The Aquatech sticks out about 2mm less than the Canon version. One thing I'd forgotten about Canon's is the poor fit, it rattles quite a bit and falls off sometimes. The Aquatech doesn't move at all.
