First time posting senior photos here. Let me know how I did!

The girl was really easy to work with. It was harder to get her to do a serious face than to get her to smile. Her mom helped to boom the light in most of the photos. The rural photos hold some sentimental value to her since they were shot on their property.

There are more on my flickr so click the photos and it will take you there.

Technical stuff: check the sig

really great shots. your PP work is superb.

Just watch where you cut off limbs. #4 has a pretty close elbow chop and #5 has a pretty close knee chop.

The only real complaint I have is the tilt on #7 - its a bit extreme. And, now that I look at it again it has a questionable chop near her left wrist.

But I'm truly nitpicking. These get a solid 95/100 from me.

How long did the shoot take? It looks like she managed to get a wardrobe AND hair change, and that couldn't have been fast.

Hm. It looks like any coloration (which is very mild and tasteful, imo) was intentionally done?

I still got to see green colored skins unless I am watching captain kirk's star trek.

Look at #5, #6 and compare to the next two.

I'm guessing you are using nearly 100 on the clarity slider of ACR? That seems to be the look of them that I don't often find being flattering for portraits. Portraits often benefit from a softer look than the extra contrast the clarity slider offers. This is because clarity acts like a form of sharpening, and portraits fall apart with too much sharpening that brings out "too much" detail in the skin.

Several of them have a green tint in the skin tones. In #3, the cast off of the green door/wall make this even more noticeable.

This was a two day session. One in the city and one at their house. Yes the clarity slider was pretty high on. I likethe contrasty look it ads but Im still hunting for a personal style so other sets I don't do the same way every time.

The skin tones were originally very red so i did a quick curves adjustment. Didn't really go by numbers. My monitor is not calibrated but it's very close to what i see from prints so it works for me. Thanks for all the comments so far. Keep em coming :)

You can mask out the clarity effect on her skin.. it would leave the eyes and edges sharp, and her skin smooth and flattering.

Agreed! With that said, I too like the softer look yet tack sharp/contrasty eyes. I like your style and think that your efforts are great!
