Now that I have upgraded to a 7D (still have a 40D as well), I need to sell the XT.

I'm going to guess the shutter count to be around 25,000. Other than that, it is perfect condition.

I'm just looking for a price as I've got a family member asking.

Thanks

I would say $250-$300, before the family discount.

Yup sold mine just 2 weeks ago for $275, got a late offer for $300 (but decided to go with original promise)
I included a circular polariser for kit lense, 1gig CF card, and 2 Sterlingtek batteries.

Body only, $200.00. With a kit lens $250.00. How much do you like this relative?

Yep, I sold my 20D for $260 and Rebel XTi for $300 eariler this year. $200 for an XT is fair.
