Okay, so I'm running into a problem and wonder if anyone might know how to fix it...Running Win7, and CS5. I doing a quick pp in Camera Raw and goto save my files as jpgs on my C:/. Some of the thumbnails show up on the desktop, some of them only show up partially, and the rest of the thumbnail is grey. When I double click on the thumbnail, the entire picture is there, but I can't figure out why the thumbnails look screwy. Tried looking on the Internet, but am not having any luck. Any PC users, please help!! I know, I know, this wouldn't happen on a mac ;)

Thanks so much guys!

Just to try to get clear what s happening...when you open a file in ACR, is it a Raw file? And them you do some ACR adjustments and then in ACR Save it as a jpeg?

And then you are saying that a thumbnail of the jpeg with those adjustments shows in Bridge looking funny, but when you double-click it it shows up in Photoshop properly with the ACR adjustments and all?

Just trying to be clear about what is going on.

Hi Tony,

Yes, its a RAW file being opened in ACR, which I am then saving as a jpg. No looking at the thumbnails in Bridge, looking at them in Win 7 just as a folder on my HD. Double clicking on the tumbnail shows that the image is there and if fine, but for whatever reason, that folder open on my C:/ shows some thumbnails perfectly fine, and others just partially with the rest of the thumbnail grey.

With the Explorer window open, click Organize at the top left and select Folder and Search Options. Then select the view tab then untick Hide Protected Operating System Files. Now you should see a Thumbs.db file in the folder. Delete this then press F5 to refesh the folder and let Windows create a new thumbnail database. Finally turn the Hide Protected Operating System Files back on.

If this doesn't work then Photoshop is somehow creating bad files and a repair install may help.

Hmmm...When I untick the Hide Protected OS Files, the thumbs.db doesn't show up...Rebooted and still isn't showing it...
