I dropped it and tested the the capacitor is in fact bad. Where can I get a replacement? I found the Canon part number CY2-1171-000 but have no idea where I can get a hold of a replacement! Thing with testing capacitors is, you have to have them OOC (out of circuit) in order to get a good reading. pardon my ignorance, I should have said the capacitor seems OK. The assembly is fried. I removed the assembly from the capacitor and tested it. I didn't know I could get a replacement assembly without the capacitor but if I can that should work. Looks like your caps shorted--or one died--and burned/blew off a good chunk of your circuit tracing. I could have fixed that, but it would have been a pain, and I've got another, larger project of similar nature that's been on the back burner for longer than I care to admit.
