Here are some Canadian Rockies shots.
The first is looking from the main peak of the East End of Rundle (EEOR) towards the lower peak.
The Second is looking west towards the Three Sisters.

Please let me know what you think.

I'm stuck on these. I like them both.

2 things in the second photo are that the power lines in the top of the photo are a little distracting. Also the mountains in the background are just a touch soft. Otherwise good shot.

I like them, but like vermaak, the power lines spoil number 2 (only the ones in the sky, not the ones on the ground).

Is the background deliberately blurred in number 2? It may just be the compression for uploading or my eyes, but it looks...I don't know...not quite right.

Just my 2 penn'orth!

Thanks for the critique, you're right the background in #2 isn't quite right. Here is another version of the same shot with the power-lines clipped out and some sharpening. The locomotive is sharp and the mountains are still a little blurred.

Hi Flo,

The lines were up at the very top of the image just floating in space (see the first post) I left the lines attached to the poles (c:

Indeed, I actually scrambled up Middle Sister the other day and had a blast doing it.
