I shot 35mm in the 70's & 80's,cool stuff,

and then I have had several P&S cameras for many years, starting with the old Sony Mavica that used a 3.5" floppy,

then got a Rebel XT given to me,good camera,

then upgraded to a T1i,wonderful camera,great stuff,

then sold that and got a 50D(few weeks ago),and WOW I love this camera a lot !

that's all,thanks for looking,and again,

I love this camera ! :D

I just got the 50D last week too and I love it as well. I'm still learning how to fully utilize the camera.

LOL...yes and no because in all honesty i really did like the 450D and did have some awesome images from it, but now that i've had my hands around what feels like a proper camera body i couldn't go back down to a smaller can again, the 50D is a damn good camera and have no regrest so far, though people winge about the noise which is to be honest there but i feel that it reminds me of the old film days, it's very easy to control the digital noise and you don't get any odd blotches in the shy like the lower models when reducing the noise with the 50D.....enjoy your new toy...

I had a Sony Mavica way back when. That floppy disk drive makes me laugh now, but darn it was convenient! I have a T1i now, so maybe I'll follow in your footsteps and get a 50D someday.

yep ! I was taking pics everyday for my work,I am in the auto insurance business, and back then we would take pics and mail in the floppies, hell! now the new pc's don't even come with anymore LOL,
but you're right, the floppies were easy to use for sure, and those mavicas did'nt really take bad pics considering what they were.

TattooDan -- I'm in the same boat -- shot a Nikon FM in the 80's -- went to P&S through the 90's first film then digital and then last March, 50d! Glad for the evolution! Great cameras ;)
