What do you think about that top mounted LCD display?

Apparently it is a working device! Can you imagine the detail? Can you imagine the computer needed to edit video?

quick sell all your RED stock. ;-)a

I'm a little confused about this camera. It says the sensor is 8 mp, but 4K resolution is 4096×3072, which is about 12 megapixels. So I don't see how it could record native 4K without sufficient pixels.

4096x3072 is a 4:3 aspect ratio. Perhaps this camera is a 2.35:1 aspect ratio which is just over 7.1MP.

I wonder how much that would cost on its own.
