Brad, where in "west" Texas? Nice shots, too. I don't get to see scissor-tails that often since I moved out of SE Kansas.

Super shots Brad, that thrasher is very cool looking. First time I've seen a Juvie mockingbird, cute little guy. That flycatcher is quite unique, great looking bird.
Thanks Steve, The Thrashers are always there to photograph and have those cool looking orange eyes. Also the flycatchers are always a joy to photograph.

Thank you Levina, I think this was an immature bird because of the unusually short tail. He only stayed for a minute and wouldn't turn around for me.
