Shot this for a lost and forgotten contest I entered. Would like to here what you guys think of both subject and composition. I like the DOF.

I had a pair of those and I embarassed to admit I am that old.

I like the concept. The angles skate is blown out where the flash/lighting reflected off the side.

Canon 40D and more lenses than my wife knows about...

With those reflective surfaces, I wouldn't use on camera flash. If you have a shoe-mount flash, I would move it off-camera, if you can. Otherwise, window light would be nice, i think.

I love the color tone, but the color saturation is a little rich for my blood.

Composition is ok, I think a more dramatic worms eye or birds eye view would make it a little better. I like the back skate on top of the other one.
