I shot a lot of stuff at a show where there were reenactments of battles. I probably uploaded far too many shots but I had so much fun putting them through the time machine post processing (Read sepia, vignettes and grain) I don't really care too much if most shots get passed over. :)

But here are a few I think came out pretty good.

I wish the rope going across had not been there. I was not amused!

I like your series. I think though to heighten the authenticity, it needs to be taken in the style of the period. (Of course, early 1800' didn't have photography lol)
I think the tank shot, in that regard, works the best. Horse and carriage comes a close second.
One could be forgiven that they were actually genuine.

The queen shot, as noted, is diminished by the the rope. Certainly some very good PS skills needed here, but its made all the worse that the boy on the right looks out of place. Cant tell if he is wearing a costume or a tracksuit, but he just doesn't fit IMHO.

cheers, Paul

I've never been a fan of reenactment purely on the basis that most predate photography so what do you do with photos of enthusiasts dressing up. However, as per previous comments, the processing has given these photos a good air of authenticity. Could be worth touting round the antique dealers.
