Dude Chief...have you started emitting code too?!?!?!

I was just showing solidarity with Cat. Since she's out of the country, I guess I can skip it for a while.

Lisa:

I'm woefully behind on my reading in this thread, so this may already have been discussed:

Lightroom 3.2 has been released which includes, among other thing, support for the Sony NEX-5.

Thanks Chief. It won't run on my mac though. Blast it. (lightroom 3)

wonder what kind of adventure we were on?

We were all in Las Vegas for some convention thing Curt was involved with. Somehow you and I were out on our own and something happened, though not clear like a close mugging or something, that caused to be late for the convention bus to take us to see Phantom. That was when Curt and Dan were all ticked off at us until they heard why we were late. So they told us just hurry and get ready and we'd find our own way to the show...so what do we do...take our own sweet time getting ready...and having to go back to our rooms to get our shawls. Then I woke up.

Dear Ms Permie,

Why is it that you have to be so much of a shi....I mean....rabble rouser, anyway?

Signed,
Disgruntled

Permagrin wrote in post #10928201 (external link)
Dear Disgruntled,

Rabble rousing is healthy for the little grey cells. Plus it keeps certain polar bears from BSing their way through the thread

Hope this clarifies.
Your adoring fan,
Ms. Permie

Jim, in order to maintain a full transparent dialogue here, I will now post Lisa's original response to "Disgruntled":

I thought it was pretty hard, so it was put through a pretty rigorous edit job.

OMG, beer through the nose, ROTFLOL:lol:

You were so taking cheap shots at Jim, I saw.

Dood you PM'ed me all crying that Lisa didn't like you or your pictures, admit it, CRYING big Canada tears I say.

So tell, me, are there a lot of eh's and right during a Canadian crying jag?

Holy Cat Crap......naps....editing....is there no end to your guys harassment?

Jim, I'm on your side of this argu...er...discussion. Because, when I go over 10 - 15 minutes of sleep mid-day, I really feel like cwap, but a short snooze, I'm completely refreshed.

BearLeeAlive wrote in post #10929076 (external link)
Lisa hardly ever backed up at all, and she has company critical stuff on her computer, as well as lots of photos too. The kids (anyone on our network) can backup to it too.

 Can you believe I'm the only one at my office to do my own back-ups? Even IT asks, why, when they back up the servers every night. My response is, how soon would you recover a file for me tomorrow if I needed it? By doing my own back up, I can get it right now and not have to wait on someone else to have the time.

we had passes to the base of the statue instead of just going to the island. There were a lot of steps, tough for most of my guys but they did it and I am so proud of them.

Your guys rock!

BearLeeAlive wrote in post #10929927 (external link)
The statue does look like it is leaning quite a bit though.

Creative angle.:p

Sad, sad evening here, Curt is crushed. The beauty pageant we are shooting tomorrow...went from 8 contestants down to 3. I've run out of tissues trying to console Curt. He is a trooper and will persevere and continue the mission albeit with less gigs of memory then originally planned.

wow. I just had someone asking me if I was taking cheap shots at Diane & Wool on the thread. wtheck? ???

Most of you know me well enough to know that if I'm commenting on your photos, I'll honestly comment MY opinion. Just that.

If I'm making a general observation in my post, it's just that, a general observation. And I thought I made that clear.

I wasn't trying to take a shot (cheap or otherwise) at anyone. I was simply posting some common mistakes that people (self included) make and it was a simple attempt to chronicle & advise.

So, for those of you that know me, you know what I meant. For those of you that don't or assume I'm just a ****, sorry about that. Nothing I say or do will change how you perceive me, or what I say or do.

To Diane and Wool, no, I was not taking any shots at you (or anyone else, should there be any other misconceptions re my post) or your shots. Sheesh.

*sigh*

Good grief....what boob tossed that out? Obviously, it was someone that doesn't know this forum very well. Good grief.

For the mystery poster: If Lisa chooses to be critical of my work, she does so with my full consent. She has always been open and candid with her critique of things I have posted....I happen to respect her opinion. BTW....I don't need any outside assistance defending my work, not everyone likes it....and I don't expect them to.
