Good Morning everyone. Got to sleep in a bit (although it did mean being awakened at different times by animals for attention, and to go outside), but did not get out of bed until 9:30

I don't want to imply that there is any animosity between the Army and Navy.....but this is fleet landing at West Point. ;)

Morning kids! serious sleep in for all of us.

We just brushed the cats teeth, and no one got hurt.

Wow, Crissa if I tried that here, I would have blood all over the place

I think Chris went to sleep. I wonder what he will do if I text him that it is his turn so he gets up. He won't be able to put hands on me for awhile but I will certainly go back out there. Hmmmm, dilemma.

Neat!

Leyla has done many of those. We can go next spring if we want. It is not so simple as it means LOTS of family stuffage that will verge on painful. It still would be a great photo op. When I went years ago I was a point and shoot film guy.

You should go!! Family or not, Turkey would be wonderful to photograph. I know. Take us. We'll visit with her family.:lol:

I just spent the last couple hours cleaning out the pantry. There were lots of things with expired shelf lives, duplicates of things I won't use in the next 50 years, and other 'stuff' I just didn't like. So far, I've filled a couple large trash bags, and I'm only on break. It looks like I'm only about halfway through with the project. It will stay organized until our next trip to the grocery store; Lois will find a bunch of 'bargains,' and we'll squeeze them into the pantry wherever they'll fit, and in another year, I'll be throwing them out.

lol. I need to go through the house and clear out stuff that's just taking up space. I'm always sorry when I do though.

Any time one o' you'se mentions a date I send myself an email reminder so I can eventually add it into my database (actually, just a plain old text file), then into a little "reminder" app I installed on my cell phone. The last cell phone I had ran an app that could only handle about 50 dates it could remind me about, so I limited it pretty much only to birthdates. But, the app I use on my Android phone doesn't seem to have a limit. Not that I've found anyway. I have a couple hundred dates plugged into it, and every night at midnight, if there's something going on in the next few days, it lets me know...

Next time you're down here in the desert, you should check it out. It's a sort of outdoor museum, not far from where the Chief lives. There are several dozen metal statues like those scattered over several miles near Anza Borrego. Here's the official web site about it (external link).

Very nice Nathan. I like the sea grass in the foreground of this one. Well done.

Parade down. Need to go set up lights when Curt is done with lunch. In the meantime I'm working on the IL's 50th anniversary card.
