monkeygirl wrote in post #11049490 No, these are videos that my Grandfather made on the footsteps of St. Paul that I was telling Wade about during the Oregon trip last year. I was finally able to get a copy of the videos from my parents, and Wade said that he would be interested in copying them to DVD for himself (and I was hoping that he could burn one or two for me) Oh I would love to see those! Cat, have you heard any updates on the boys struck by lightening? Hoping that they'll be able to pull through with minimal health issues. The last update was that they were still critical. I don't know how much is teenager stories getting passed around, and how much is real news. Cat -the femine feline with the namby arms. Loquacious, but not to a fault.

Marian knew one of the boys too, and has been trying to get updates. She said that his internal organs were badly burned, (?) and they have him in a medically induced coma. Sending all positive stuff. I hope that with the strength of youth on their side, recovery will go smoothly. Terri |GEAR|

M-80's, like all fireworks that go boom, contain flash powder, a mix of aluminum powder and an oxidizer. Flash deflagerates, or burns real fast. Dynamite detonates and propagates with a shock wave at thousands of times faster than deflagerating powder. There is no real comparison between the two. you can have the biggest flash powder charge and it still will not shatter rock like dynamite does. See brisance I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

I can do cherry bombs, cannon crackers, ash cans, flash powder charges, but not M-80's. The real M-80's were a U.S. military training device made to simulate .30 caliber fire in combat. Drill instructors would toss them around boot camp as I understand it. We used M-80's to recall divers in the Navy. We'd tape them to a large bolt or nut so they'd sink, light them and toss them into the water when we wanted the divers to surface. They were very effective... John
