The railroad museum takes up enough of my time now, I forget to work on my processing.

Speaking of which...

A very old picture that I had completely forgotten about until my reunion last month... This was taken in June of 1968 at the Cam Ranh Bay Air Force Base in Vietnam. That's me on the right and a classmate of mine from high school on the left. We didn't know we were both stationed in the same place until a mutual friend we were corresponding with put two and two together and let us both know.

I had sent this photo to another classmate and she brought it, along with some others I had sent her, to the reunion and gave them back to me. I can't believe she still had them after 42 years. She even had the original envelope I had sent them in... A photographic printing paper envelope with the address written on a sheet of paper taped to the front with electrical tape.

It is to me. I have it totally implanted in my brain that it is too. Even using the GPS, both handheld and in the car, I prefer north up instead of the direction you are heading.

Kona was in the back of Chris' Tahoe while the rest of us were out photographing something. K-Dawg wanted to be with us. Bad. As soon as Chris opened up the back of the rig, Kona leapt out, trying to get to us. Chris caught him, literally, in mid-air.

Actually, there were only 2 other people there, and they were respectful enough to let everyone get a photo without anyone else being in the photo..

graining is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay less than with my 40D

all that coffee has made you jittery and nervous...

soon you'll develop that "twitch" in your neck
