The one you have if you ever got an email from me. Just kidding ;) It was some thing that made my whole world able to be stolen through a back door. Little do the hackers know, I am poor trash, they picked the wrong identity to steal. HA!

Whoa...that sucks....stupid hackers.

GAH! How did you get hacked? Glad your friend fixed it.

Well I doubt it was something I caught from the Martha Stewart site but probably some other site I visit.

I had not updated my Norton antivirus subscription in 4 years either.

Agreed :D.....now I need to see if I can plant that little bug of buying the grip and an extra tripod quick release plate and extra batteries and more CF cards and a different neck strap than what it came with...and...and...and...

Only thing though....I don't know if I should sell the new 28-135 (unused) or the old one since I already had the lens from buying the 40D....or keep them both just in case I need that range for taking video on the 7D while on a tripod and needing to take some shots at the same time with the 40D.:lol:

Try both lenses to see if one is better than the other....then sell the off copy. That will more than fund a grip, battery and a nice new strap...maybe even a tripod plate or two.

Ahh....great idea. I'll have to do that one test with the printed paper focusing thingamajig. Thanks Wool. And I have a friend that may be able to use one of these lenses.

Oh really? So I shouldn't bring out the 20mm straw and wads soaked in flammable liquid while I hold the lighter at the tip of the straw?
 Though it may look cool arcing through the air.

No, not really. It works like a charm on icky fires, but it's a pain to clean up.

Hi Pea Lisa ,everyone , Paris is doing ok , she just makes me crazy with pacing ..haha

I know how that pacing can make ya nutz. I watch these bird dogs pace everyday. Makes me want to run screaming... Glad Paris is better though.

Cool!

That reminds me, JON, The odd looking angles the flares was caused by me firing the flare from close to the camera which was on a tripod. You are seeing the flare travel away from the camera and tumbling as it does, then falling to the ground. Any curve may be from wind playing on it or perhaps distortion. I was firing them more horizontal than vertical.

So I have not done any reading up on the 7D to learn what functions it has and what not....I just know I wanted to get either the 5D MkII or the 7D, but settled on the 7D because of the sensor size keeping similar to the 40D instead of getting the full frame. Anyhow, I'm sitting here punching different buttons and setting up the 7D similar to the 40D in terms of custom functions n'stuff....when I stumble upon a digital level!! That is freaking cool!

Now I can be sure to get the horizons level when on a tripod fer sure....I had a small bubble level for that but would rarely use it because its so small and would always slide off the camera when placed on top. I think I'll read a little of the book before going to bed .
