blech, sorry to hear that, Harm. We've all been sick for the last few days as well. Thankfully I seem to have caught it early enough with Blondie with Zicam, she seems to be better.

Yucky. The joys of having kids in school... everyone seems to catch everything that comes along. Hubby had a bad cold and is just now getting over it. I got lucky somehow and didn't catch it from him. Thank goodness. Must be all the wine I drink killed all the bad germs.

Hi Pea I'm finally feeling pretty good emotionally , and Andys got a long weekend and things are starting to look brighter for me I guess .Its always nice to be on the bright side

Mornin', everyone.

Long day yesterday. We were up at 4:00, and on the road by 5:30. We arrived in Las Vegas by 10:00, and spent the day doing Las Vegasy things. We knocked around until 5:30, and were back home by 11:00pm. 600 miles driving and a full day of acttivity made for a very tired old codger. I'm glad I can still do it, but regret I now have the maturity to question why.

We had supper at a deli in the Wynn hotel/casino. They place is called Zoozacrackers, and the food is pretty good. We had a pastrami sandwich that was actually quite extraordinary. It has 1 1/2 lbs of meat on it, 4 slices of bread 4 giant kosher dills, and cost $21.95. All three of us were able to make do with just the one sandwich, so it was cost effective compared to approx. $10 for a regular pastrami sandwich, even after buying two extra slices of bread for $2.50.

The ride in the truck was just fine. It really is very comfortable, but it sucks gas in prodigious quantities. Today we do battle with the Lexus dealer over the tire matter. Oops, car dealer...... sorry, Puddles.

Chief I hope you enjoyed yourself a bit after all maturity can be overrated .

Morning kids! Been a long week but we have Monday off and I am looking forward to it.

I gave the kids the gift card to the pet store yesterday, their mom got mad at me!!

She seemed a bit mad mad!! I was surprised, she said she had given it as a small token of thanks and that my time was so much more valuable, I told her that I took the pics in the 1st place as a token of MY thanks for them being such wonderful neighbors...

Seems I've made a few folks mad these past two weeks or so Deb, not really sure how or why but ya gotta roll with the punches.

I'm not mad. I'm grateful for you brokering the camera deal.

lol, anytime Chief. Wanda is ecstatic!! She gets their new golden retriever puppy today after work and is planning on putting the camera to good use!
