Wow, that is very OCDish, probably worse than any I have dealt with. I find the worse is when both partners are just as bad as each other in the decision making arena. Off hand I know of 3 couples in 15 years that were extremely bad, including the ones I am dealing with now. One set I actually threatened to fire if they never got their act together. And the funny thing is, all these customers were very nice people, just could not make up their minds.

This was one of those types of couples. They seemed more obsessed with their folders, labeling systems, research, and planning how the project should flow than the outcome. I seem to remember saying to this couple they needed to look at the big picture and how it will all be nice once done rather than zooming in and concentrating on one leaf of the landscape. I backed out and told them to contact me when they had made all their decisions. They did sign and the project went well but that is mostly because they got obsessed with the interior work.

I must say I've been really lucky to find such a deal on my 7d. 1250$

I bought it from a very reputable place where I've already bought many things. They had a one hour sale - as long as they have stock, it was over in 30min...- I took advantage of it. They do this almost every day on different things - mostly not interesting at all. I couldn't resist this deal at -16% ;-)a

Afternoon everyone. Hope you are all having a good day. I did not get to go see my monkeys :(

Cool, could you see what type of hawk it was?

Sorry on no monkeys :(

I am not sure what kind it was.

We went into a place for dinner tonight and left Dots for maybe 25 minutes in the car. There was a bag of McDonald's with half an order of fries sitting with the top open on the floor of the front seat. The whole car stunk of that wretch. She didn't touch it:shock: Either she is broken or really smart

Ashley was like that, too. Once, we went hiking and camping with a group of about 15 people. One of them told me how amazed he was with her after she walked past one of the picnic table benches that had an open pack of hot dogs laying there right at her eye/nose level. She never even gave it a sniff and he was just jaw-dropping amazed.

But, then, one talent that she had that frustrated the heck out of me is, almost every time I took her outside for a walk in the neighborhood where we lived, she'd come back home with a chicken bone in her mouth. I couldn't figure out where in the heck she was finding them all! I never saw her pick them up, but almost every single time she'd have one by the end of the walk...

I haven't used it, myself, but I've heard from a few people who have. They all say it's a real fun app.

Chet, random trivia...they took the phosphates out of Cascade here now too. :( So much for getting decent dishwasher detergent in PA.

That's just great, now where am I going to score my detergent! I know they want me to purchase a new fangled dishwaser for $800 that will clean the dishes using the new stuff.

It is rare that a deal that beats all deals is on the up and up. I often spend a little more but I can't be bothered with bargain hunting too much. If I am ordering something rather than buying at a store, like I normally do, I tend to buy from one of the big reputable camera outlets like B&H. I usually do a search and look at one of the sites that lists all the sellers and prices. Usually most the listings are the same and then there are a few cheaper ones, then there are the very cheap obvious scams. I buy from one of the places that all have the same price. All the other ones always have a hitch.

I hope it is all good Mike.

Yep...I only do business with B&H or Adorama.....with a couple of exceptions for little things. I like the security of dealing with a reputable company that I know will be there if there is an issue.

While I love to get a deal, I too prefer the security of a reputable store, and prefer local if the deal is even close.

I have seen lots of cameras sold just how Mike's was. It musta been on eBay or sumpin'.

BTW Mike...my comment is not a condemnation of your purchasing decision. Amazon is usually on the up and up....so it is rather surprising to hear of your experience. Hope your camera is flawless and it never becomes an issue.
