How the hell do you get a 48mb photo file? For that matter, how the hell do you get a 24mb file? The only files I ever have that big are the unedited .tifs coming out of Lightroom into Elements. Finished .jpgs run anywhere from 3 to 10mb as a rule.

I got annoyed with it. It has something to do with the file size while in PS, don't remember ask Bobby.

Pfffft :p *dangles crab legs in front of Dragon with way more food issues than my olive phobia*

I am working on the olive thing. Well so far just in my head, I have not met with any actual olives. I will learn to love the olive if you learn to love the sea bug, deal?

PffffffffffffffftTT! :p I do not fear the sea bugs, HotHead. They are just nasty, bottom feeding scavengers *shudder* I would no more indulge in a sea bug than I would a buzzard. GAK! Olives do not scavenge, and I am fairly certain, are more of a prey vegetable thingy, thus MUCH more healthier for you. HA. :p

No deal :p

MPIX has done some pretty detailed 20x30 prints for me from 5mb files. I'm thinking somebody is smoking something to want files that size.

When you open up a photo in Photoshop or Elements, on the bottom of the frame for that JPG you will see the actual uncompressed size. This photo is 4.91MB when viewed in Explorer, but in Photoshop it's 28.8MB (red circle).

Poor misguided dragon.....you know not what you miss. Sea bugs are at the heart of many a healthy diet. Not to mention, they taste great too!

MPix's spec via Zenfolio (for even the largest 24x36 print) is for a 5-8Mb JPEG in sRGB...

Only sold a couple this size but got glowing reviews from the recipients...

(I could kick myself when I realize I spent the first six months on Zen uploading 23.9Mb TIFF files...) :(
