The reason we pronounce it that way in Oregon is because that's the way it's supposed to be pronounced. You could probably set up a small business teaching proper enunciation and make a go of it with Zane as your only customer.

Sid...Sid....Sid shame on you. The only correct pronunciation of pecan is pea-can....seems that some uppity folks thought that word was offensive....so they tried to sanitize with some silly a$$ pronunciation.

Got word tonight, Curt's opponent for the election withdrew on August 30th. The party had 9 days to caucus and add another candidate to the ballot, they did not. So it appears, Curt will be the only name on the ballot. Whew!!!

oh I forgot to tell you guys one fun thing that happened during the renewal of vows...

We (myself, Cat, Chris & Dan) were taking photos & Wade was videoing...and some people came up to Dan and asked what we were doing & if Zane & Leyla were famous. Dan was so intent on getting ready for the ceremony that he did NOT take advantage of the moment and assure the onlookers that Z&L were visiting royalty. Silly boy that he is...

Good question. I've never seen that message before, so I don't really know why you're getting it. Maybe the files are DRM protected. Try burning them to an audio CD then ripping them back to the computer (use a CD-RW disc). That will get rid of the protection if there is any.

Must have been a Banana Bread day, Curt bought a loaf at a bake sale yesterday, as well.

G'MAE all...and so it begins, we plant signs in the county this afternoon when I'm off work and done getting my haircut. Only other thing on the schedule this weekend, out of the usual, is taking a class reunion picture tomorrow evening.

Still good to have visibility. We won't be putting up as many, mostly on the main roads. He/we will still go to Meet the Candidates nights, walk in a parade next weekend, and other stuff like that. Just good to meet the voters, educate a bit about the office, etc.

Time to go see if I have to face any music after blowing up last evening at our Marketing Manager. Seems there was a promotion going on that I wasn't told about which equals me going back and adjusting compensation before paying commissions on Tuesday. I wasn't happy and let it be known.

JIm good thing you know how to install cabinets we are still waiting .nobodys got time .Maybe this week they will start?
