Trying a new lighting method - C&C welcomed

Hi - just trying bouncing my flash off a disc reflector to bring out the subject on an outside shot. Would appreciate any feedback - I know it's not the best composed shot but from a lighting POV, would be interested to hear what you think.

Generally, she looks pretty good. But I don't think a child that young should have bags under her eyes?

Yeah, she hit it pretty hard last night on the whiskey so is suffering today... (joking!).

This light was probably too high so is still casting shadows - I'm going to try this method at a wedding where the people are going to be taller so the angle should make it easier.

I'm just trying to decide whether to use this method or lug my softbox around with me.

I think it should be fine on the adults..I would stow the gear in the vehicle anyways, best to have it on hand....
