Could be worth giving the mall a ring and see if anyone handed one in - I found a regular SD card in our local mall the other day and handed it into the information desk in case it had something important on it... you may have been lucky and someone might have done the same!

photoPanda - I will give them a ring tomorrow thanks.
Sportidi - Yes it will be missed greatly, I will miss the 8FPS but I'm willing to trade that in for FF. However I can easily downgrade ;)

The 5D II is an awesome camera. Too bad you had to sell your 7D. Both cameras compliment each other.

As far as the media card, it does help putting your name & number on there. I dropped my phone once at a bowling alley once, which popped out the SD card. I didn't notice, the SD card was gone until I got home. I came back and looked for it, but couldn't find it. I was disappointed, because I had allot of apps on the card, along with some photos. I was already looking to buy another card, when I got a call. Someone found my card and even offered to mail it to me. So now I put my name and number on all my media cards.

congrats on the new purchase! hope you find that the 5DII was worth the loss of the 7D value :)

would definately be nice to have both cameras to compliment each other though.

(ps - 'costed' is not a word ;) )

I don't think he will regret it ... but he may end up wondering what all the hoopla is over the 5DII.

I rented a 5DII for a week, taking it back today.

I am happy I bought the 7D and not the 5DII.

You paid too much for that Sandisk Card .....

You can get them all over the place for less than $100.00

A google search shows several seller pumping them out for less than $90.00

Did you buy it from Best Buy?

I went to Best Buy and walked out, a local Camera dealer sold me one for $160 and compared to Best Buy that was a good deal. Later I looked them up on the net, and that $160 price turned out to be not so good a deal! ;)

EDIT: $94.95 here -> http://www.abesofmaine.com …id=SDCF16GBXA61&l=FROOGLE (external link)

I believe "costed" is a word, just not in the way the OP used it.:)
