I think someone forgot to tell Canon that about the 5D MkII (external link).

I wonder if it depends which shooting mode you are in?

Ahh, I didn't know that. I thought all live view shooting was manual focus only. Goes to show how often I use live view :) I'll keep my mouth shut next time ;)

it isn't as obvious a system (it doens't work with the shutter button, but the AF Focus button - weird) as it is on the 7D - so we'll let you off! ;)

glad the flat move went OK - and looking forward to your wedding shots! :D

Quick question... What Canons video? 5D Mk1, 5D Mk2, 7D, 500D and 550D? Or is there more in the DSLR range.

sounds like a job for the Lee patent pending Deer spotting map! :D

(I tend to head for the car park near the snack van in the middle, near the ponds - then head towards the woods)

I don't think the 5D classic has video. 1D4 does. 60D?

Cheers Mike and all the rest of you............its a great spot, a forever changing foreground........and the tree makes a god focal point...

I really should do something like a shot a week, to track the changing seasons
