I only eat eggs if its in cake etc, ive never touched a friend egg or anything! And the only fish i eat is Tuna. (Yes i know im weird) Plus Vit D comes in a lot of dairy products, which ive just found out ive got a Milk Intolerance.

Do you not take vitamin supplements?

Surely with the poor diet you have previously described they are a must?

Excellent. Glad to hear.

I shall setup a facebook event page shortly.
We've got a three day weekend, and trying to give us a final break before we head off.

I don't get some doctors, Just been to see one. I got a throat with golfball like features, husky voice, chest tighter than a nuns **** and pains all over my lower, he says "if your still like it next week we can treat it with antibiotics" I've been like it near-on 3 weeks!! wtf.

I saw my doc yesterday and got straight on the antibiotics. Win for me! ;)

Gawd, there are a lot of sickly folk hereabouts :( GWS all :D Just remember antibiotics are for bacterial infections so if you have a viral infection with no underlying bacterial infections all the antibiotics will do is 'create' resistant bugs!

Speaking personally do not discount "hayfever" or more correctly allergic reactions as phewy, I get spring 'hayfever' ~ tree pollen and autumnal/winter 'hayfever' ~ moulds and spores. :( :(

@ Kay - Vit D is a difficult one??? Need sun and supplement together with calcium, I think they are complimentary to aid absorption of both.....surely a dietetic adviser can point you in the right direction?

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

A good multivitamin may be worthwhile.

Vitamin D is closely linked to Calcium and Magnesium and a good level of both is required for good Vitamin D uptake.

Vitamin D is fat soluble, meaning it requires fats to be absorbed by the body. You would be best served to take it along with a fish oil supplement or with something fatty (crisps?) to facilitate uptake.

All vitamins and essential fats/proteins are in a symbiotic relationship so a deficiency in one usually is the result or cause of another deficiency.

Nice set mate, Love them all..

I keep getting mad thoughts in my head of fitting a manual focus lens (something like a Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 + adaptor) to my 1D for sh!ts and giggles  Think I better go back to work tomorrow and get the silly ideas out my head......

Thanks mate. I think the tablets im on for the Vit D has got calcium in it as well. Im not going to start anything myself, would much rather talk to my doc first coz i dont want to overdose on something (is that possible?)

morning all...

I've succumbed to the lurgy, a day at home for me today... must be ill season...

thankfully I've got a whole bunch of films to watch, should make the day go a bit quicker!

- oh and thanks for the phone tips all, I currently have a HTC Touch HD and I've never really got on with it, hence the switch to iPhone... :D
