Vitamin D is closely linked to Calcium and Magnesium and a good level of both is required for good Vitamin D uptake. Vitamin D is fat soluble, meaning it requires fats to be absorbed by the body. You would be best served to take it along with a fish oil supplement or with something fatty (crisps?) to facilitate uptake. All vitamins and essential fats/proteins are in a symbiotic relationship so a deficiency in one usually is the result or cause of another deficiency. Thanks mate. I think the tablets im on for the Vit D has got calcium in it as well. Im not going to start anything myself, would much rather talk to my doc first coz i dont want to overdose on something (is that possible?) Website
