Thanks mate. I think the tablets im on for the Vit D has got calcium in it as well. Im not going to start anything myself, would much rather talk to my doc first coz i dont want to overdose on something (is that possible?)

Thats understandable, but you cant overdose on vitamins unless you take a handfull of tablets everyday.
Your body will naturally flush out any excesses that you dont require.

Next time you go back to the docs ask him about it.

I know what you mean, but I don't think I could lift the camera to my eye - I feel as weak as a kitten!

I went to bed at 7.30pm last night and duly woke up at hourly intervals having surreal dreams and night terrors *great* haven't got to the cough yet, looking forward to that!

I wanted something to compliment the 7D with similar capabilities, as much as I love my 1D mkII it does lack in the ISO ratings and the 5D mkII seemed to cover some different ground, it was great shooting a wedding with it too - full frame is quite lovely!

Is there that much difference then between the 5D and the 1D Mk2 in ISO? I've been really happy with the ISO on the 1D.

Get drugged up before you get the cough, If you get what i've got, its ******* ****!! I got glands like melons!

the 5D mkII will do ISO up to 25,600 - the 1D mkII I wouldn't take past ISO 640 in terms of image quality, the 5D mkII delivers (I think) great images at ISO 3,200...

I am popping loads of pills don't worry!

My cough is just like that too. I got to sleep ok but woke up at 4.30 and just couldn't stop coughing. Very annoying!

The 5DII ISO is great, I recently shot quite a chunk of a wedding at 6400 ISO and they came out very nicely.

Ah ok I never knew, Not used a 5D before. I don't mind a bit of noise in some photos, I expect i'll be going for that look when i'm away (for street photography) unless I want the shot crisp, landscapes etc

Once you go FF you wont go back, the only thing lacking in the 5DMKII is the focus speed and burst rate but a great camera all round

I got use of a 1Ds, and I love that. Not really compared photos though to my 1D.

Vic, you still got the MF 1.8 50mm for sale?

it does become quickly apparent what everyone gets so enthused about - and the appreciation of the focal range of lenses on it, quite an eye opener! (I quite like the reassuring shutter 'ping' too! :D)
