Because we were talking about eneloops (external link) the other day :)

I actually think it would be a great idea if you could buy your batteries in different colours. Much easier to keep them in sets that way.

Tried out the 50 1.2. It is next on the lens list for me for sure 85 1.2 next but I will hold on to the 85 1.8 as it is not a run and gun lens.

Could you have a look at this thread and vote on which pictures I should enter, it is for a competition at work resulting in the pictures going in a calendar.

Cheers

As usual way too many to give 100% attention to ~ but the deer images Mark are crackers, Rich lovely wedding shots but the #2 image does on this lappy have a strong green cast......??? , Rob very interesting strong image set.

Was up in Wallingford today (awefull weather) and saws Red Kites very low over one of the main roads effectively hovering at about 25ft eyeing up the roadkill......if they are feeding along that one regularly msut be worth and expedition sometime???

Right, PC build parts on reservation:-
Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4
i5 760
GTS 450 Sonic Platinum graphics card (Novatech brand)
LG DVDRW with Lightscribe (staggered how low priced these drives are now compared to my old Sony I bought 4 years ago)
Corsair 650W modular PSU
G.Skill RipJaw 8GB RAM DDR3 set (2 off 4GB) [cheaper than Crucial which I have always used but G.Skill do have a good reputation]
1 off WD Caviar Black 1TB for data storage
2 off WD Caviar Black 500GB (one to partition as OS and programs 'drives' and the second one as single drive for Page File/scratch/data as needed). [Was tempted by the Seagate Momentus XT hybrid drive but too much ££'ss compared to the likes of Caviar Black]
Case - reusing my old Lian Li midi tower (just need to find the fascia blanking plates for bits being removed and not replaced ~ also replacing the fans with quieter ones on soft mounts.
Will add another 8GB RAM and second 1TB as second data drive all being well next year.

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

What nissan block are you rebuilding?

It's a CA18ET I'm looking at changing it for a DET at some stage but as I'll need to buy a S13 as I'll need both engine and loom and prices are a bit silly even for scrapers I'm going to wait a while and sort what I've got. The worst bit is waiting for the parts to come from Japan.

Are you planning to move your user profile to the second disk? I have a 1TB c drive and with my profile there, it runs at 600Mb and I already have all my movie files on D.
