No snow in the big smoke at the moment, I wonder what joys will be waiting for me in The Wells? Anyone know if there's snow there?

I got a phone call from work this morning telling me I had to come into work this morning to drive a snow plough, to which I replied no as they had told us that we would not be needed to drive the snow ploughs as they had trained office staff and management to drive them. I was then told that the staff trained to drive them wouldn't come in on the weekend and they were not qualified to drive in the areas where they need to drive. I still told them no as I also don't work weekends, and after getting a text from a colleague he has also said no for the same reasons as we had pointed out when they trained the office staff they wouldn't be able to drive where needed. Smug mode is now engaged.

And I saw a nice shiny new snow plough vehicle driving round site yesterday. Am I in the only place without snow?

They've been sticking snow ploughs on anything with four wheel drive since September which has meant that we haven't been able to use the vehicles for what the should be used for and then there are complaints that jobs aren't being done, and for a company that's making cuts left right and center to save money I won't tell you how much ET have spent on snow ploughs attachments.

Nope. No sign of snow in Dartford yet.

Morning gang,

I hope everyone is well?

In case anyone is free and wants to take photos and be cold in the big smoke Mat and I are meeting at embankment tube, riverside exit, between half eleven and twelve for an afternoons snapping - more the merrier, you can watch Mat slip down the slope to full frame! ;)

What's everyone else up to today?
