This thread is for entries into the "Battle of the Clubs
" competition that is held by DSLR USER Magazine and being entered by members of the POTN South East UK thread.
To qualify for entry you must be a resident in the South East UK and have posted a minimum of 30 times in the SE UK threads. Entries will only be accepted from DSLR and digital rangefinder cameras. No compact cameras allowed I'm afraid.
1 entry only per person per round please. You my change your image at any time during the submission stage. Images must conform to POTN size guidelines - no larger than 1024px on the longest side and a maximum of 150kb file size if hosted on POTN.
Entrants must also please upload their photo to the POTN SEUK club gallery on the DSLR USER website here: http://www.dslruser.co.uk/camclub/in...profile&id=511 and don't forget to upload the new image if you change your entry here.
Please make sure that you upload your shots to the "Club Gallery" only and do not submit them to the Battle of the Clubs competition. This will be done by me after the forum vote, once the 3 selected photos have been chosen for our submission.

This round's theme is "Abstract" and the closing date for entries is 08.00 (GMT) on 1st October 2010. A new thread will then be made for voting for the top 3 images. The 3 chosen images from the vote will then be the 3 images entered into the DSLR USER competition (this round's magazine deadline is 8th October).
Please limit this thread to entries only. Any discussion should be made on the POTN SE UK "Battle of the Clubs" discussion thread.
You are free to discuss any of the entries at any time - this is a team effort after all. If you think one of the submissions would be stronger if processed differently/cropped etc then discuss it. Also if you recall a photo that someone has taken that you think they should submit then suggest it to them.
