Ok, I had a weird thing happen yesterday with the t1i. Maybe you guys can help.

I was using sandisk 4gb class 2 memory cards.

I went and bought sandisk 16gb class 4 memory cards.

When i put it in video mode, it only records 8-15seconds of video and then automatically stops now. As for when i was using the 4gig cards, it stopped when the memory ran out. Anyone have any knowledge on this? It would be greatly appreciated. Is there an option that got turned on to auto stop this?

Does the buffer meter fill up? Classes are just indications and don't necessarily reflect real word write performance, your indicated class 2 might be faster than stated.

What you are experiencing is what I experienced with a problematic CF card when trying out a T2I at the dealers.

We swapped out the CF card and the issue was gone.

Yes the buffer meter feels up, once filled it stops. Please keep in mind im very new to the video side of things. Does it mean I got the wrong cards?
