I found this today while walking down a river near my house, not sure how old it is or where it could have come from. Comments and tips are really appreciated.

Also, I was trying to figure out photoshop a little bit earlier and I wanted to do a selective coloring on the rusty head, but when I used the quick select tool (no matter how small) it kept picking up the branches from around the rust. Is there any other way to achieve the same look, or another tool that won't pick up what I don't want it to?

Edit: I will be cropping some off the top in photoshop as well

You could use a quickmask and colour the area with a brush, then use selective colours to pick up the rusty browns and oranges, , remember to feather your path though, or use the pen tool and draw a path around it, and do the same.

Nice find by the way
