And our only other option is to spend $1000-$1200 on a used 5 year old 5D. I would like Canon to make a FF model in the $800-$1200 range. If Canon had to go to an aluminum/plastic construction for the 60D to get it around $1100, I don't see how they could produce a FF in that range, since it would have higher costs to construct. A FF DSLR at the price of a Rebel or a bit more = a FF Rebel, and it is highly unlikely that Canon could create such a beast and make a profit on it to warrant the engineering and production ramp up, at least not with today's tech and market.
