First Try - Stars + DSS?

Not sure how i did?

Downloaded Deepskystacker, went outside with tripod and laptop

Used 15 shots iso 1000 x F/5.6

:confused:

uhhmm why did you get so few stars?

if you don't mind I'll share my first attempt ever to shoot astrophotography

50mm f/1.8 ISO 800 @ 25sec exposure. 1 shot only

After you stacked your image with DSS did you load it into Photoshop to stretch the histogram or anything?

Looks to my as though you took the file straight from DSS to the here.
And what was your shutter speed, and Lens focal length?

At 25mm you should be able to get a 25 second exposure before you start seeing the stars trailing.

After stacking did you save the stacked image with Changes applied or changes embedded?
