Managed to snag this month's cover feature for modified!! Both cars were built and photographed in Georgia. A few of the pictures were taken at Road Atlanta and the rest were taken at the shop of the GTR, Forged Performance, in Marietta. The 370Z was also built in Georgia at a new shop called Godzilla Performance.

It's been a long ass time since I posted. I actually bought a new camera several months ago and haven't even had the chance to use it. Hopefully, that will change soon.

I wish they'd used the 2nd last one as the cover shot, it's far better IMO. Still, they must have there reasons, great shots all around :).

4 AB00's, 2 Vagabond II's, and a handful of softboxes for interiors and engine shots.

Thanks Dougboy! Yea, all of these have somewhat of a fake look to them, am I'm not so happy with them because of that. Essentially, I wasn't able to get all the shots I needed at Road Atlanta on the Saturday night that I chose to shoot them. This meant I had to wakeup early on Sunday morning and shoot them at like 8am, so that I could drive the 8 hours back home and make it back in time for my 9-5.

The conditions betwee the two days were completely different, with Sunday morning bringing a completely overcast sky with scattered showers throughout the whole shoot. The fakeness could be attributed to the composited sky, or in the case of 4, the fact that the car is lit exernally. It typically does lend a fake look, but I actually really like that shot.

haha yea, I think they did. If you looked at the cover of Super Street last month, it was also a white 370Z and a GTR on the cover, very similar looking to my front rig shot. In addition, I think the shot they used gives a better impression for the headline, "Chasing Godzilla".
