Tamron has some "Super Rebates" starting today on some pretty popular lenses. Most are $100, so pretty good deals, I think.

http://www.tamron-usa.com …perRebate_9310-101010.pdf (external link)

$100 Rebate:
18-270 VC
18-200
17-50 f2.8 VC
10-24mm
60mm f2 macro

They also have their normal rebates which are pretty much the same as last quarter:

It looks like you can't stack rebates, unfortunately.

Thanks for the post. I've been looking for a 17-50 for awhile now. Just waiting for the right deal to come along.

Edit: Ah, wish there was a rebate for non-vc.

I just bought a Tamron 18-200, which I have wanted.
A $100 rebate makes the deal much more attractive than I was hoping for.

Thanks for the heads-up, Taylor.

That second link I posted was for the standard rebates. The non-VC has a $45 rebate, which is still pretty good.

Damn, I was hoping they'd give the rebates a rest. Trying to sell my 18-270. I'm going to get killed on it.

I would imagine that is what some of the rebates are for, to combat used sales. Tamron doesn't make anything when YOU sell someone a lens! :)

Received my rebate check today for $100.
Took a bit less than 4 weeks from the date I put it in the mail, which is a very quick
turnaround as compared to other rebates I've submitted in the past.

There's still time to get one of the rebates: until October 10 for the purchase
and until October 31 for the postmark.
