Awesome shot!!! I love it :)

Northern Lights? EXIF? Where was it shot?

It's not the northern lights but it looks like it :) it's fog lit by moonlight.
EXIF ISO400,15 or 32 sec don't remember, F2.0, RAW no effects added in PP, it was shot in the mountains of Transylvania.

Ah very cool...and 32 sec? Do you have the camera CHDK hacked? And very nice...my grandfather was born in Transylvania when it was still part of Hungary (I was born in Hungary) :) Cheers!

I'm finding high ISO a bit odd on this camera, sometimes it'll be perfectly usable, other times its horrible. I guess I'll just have to keep using it and learn more as I go :)

Low light setting (resulting ISO 3200) with no post NR. I bumped clarity and reduced exposure just a tad. Pretty impressive for a camera that is smaller than a deck of cards.

Great work on the jellyfish...especially the first pic is amazing!! As for the usable/horrid noise...I think it has a lot to do with how you expose (or at least it does in my experience). Properly exposed will yield a clean shot, but underexpose by a stop and you pay for it much more than you would with a DSLR...but I could be wrong.
