Yep, I just learned about depth of field on p&s cameras myself. But now I know what kind of photos to take with it and what not to.

I use my S95 as a "point and shoot" camera ... I keep it in auto-mode. Don't think about aperture, shutterspeed, DoF ... just have fun and capture the moment. That's how I do it :)
