An user with membership on another site and this site referred me here, and after looking through the 60+ pages of photos covinced me to order a refurb S95 from the Canon website.
Incredible and beautiful pictures, everyone. Thanks
(love the black and whites)

ps why am i getting lines thru the pictures? they were not there before

Not sure they are that good, but here goes. A little vibrance and saturation added to out of camera jpegs from P mode Any comments appreciated.

From Botany Bay National Park on the Kurnell peninsula, Cape Solander (umm, I think!). Pretty much as the S95 saw it. Wild weather the day before saw some deceptively heavy seas.

Recent trip to London. All first shoot was in RAW. Second was with the super vivid mode from the Camera.
